Be part of “In the street: Europe in detail”

What does street photography mean to you? Are you someone who tries to see everyday things around you differently? If you are in France, Germany, Spain or the UK, we would love to invite you to capture what you see, share it and be part of a the pan-european Flickr Calendar 2014 project.

Yorkshire weekend Flickr Photowalk in Berlin New meets old and still building

For "In the street: Europe in detail" we want you to capture the day to day reality of your streets and lanes – the details that don’t appear on postcards; those special images that describe everybody´s daily life: a wonky street sign, a collection of beautiful old books in a window, a fruit stall full of color and texture, a rusty garden gate…

To join the regional competition run by our European PR team head over to the group and submit your shots. for a chance to be featured in the Flickr Calendar 2014.

The Flickr Calendar 2014 group is open for submissions until October 20th, 2013. Then everyone can vote on their favorite pictures to create a shortlist by country. The final selection of the top 3 images per country will be made by a local jury, and on November 19th, the three winners per country will be announced. As well as being featured in the calendar, the winners will also receive a voucher to spend on expanding your photo gear or making another dream of yours become reality.

Good luck!
