As part of the year-long celebration of Flickr’s 10th birthday, we invited Flickr members around the world to celebrate by going on a walk with friends and cameras. We’re so excited to see the thousands of photos from more than 1200 participants in nearly 70 locations across the globe.

Despite inclement weather in Seattle (rain, what’s new?) and Helsinki (a spring hailstorm!), most participants reported glorious weather and fun had by all. We were thrilled to see first-time Flickr photo walk participation in Taipei, Taiwan, Lahore, Pakistan, Punta Arenas, Chile, The Maldives and more. Photos are still pouring into the group pool and we expect many more to come this week.

Thank you to all the organizers who made the day possible. You’ve helped us celebrate our favorite part of Flickr: the community. What an amazing group of people!
