Hep was apparently at the Metreon (a big movie theatre and mall in San Francisco) when the Cacophony Society, in the form of hundreds of Santa Clauses, swept in and invaded the Live 105 studios.

The Cacophony Society, according to their web site,

is a randomly gathered network of individuals united in the pursuit of experiences beyond the pale of mainstream society through subversion, pranks, art, fringe explorations and meaningless madness.

I’ve never witnessed any of their happenings, but I had a friend who claimed that she was the Polk Street bus in San Francisco, when one naked man got on, and at the next bus stop another one got on, and then another, and another, and another….
