El Archivo Nacional de Estados Unidos (U.S. National Archive) ha publicado en Flickr un álbum de fotos que muestra las reacciones de las autoridades estadounidenses a los ataques terroristas del 11 de septiembre de 2001 en las ciudades de Nueva York y Washington D.C.

En el álbum se puede ver cómo el entonces presidente George W. Bush, el ex vicepresidente Dick Cheney, la ex secretaria de Estado Condoleeza Rice y el general Colin Powell, entre otros miembros del Gabinete estadounidense, reaccionaron a las noticias e imágenes que se mostraron en televisión.

El álbum contiene las imágenes de puertas para adentro de uno de los momentos más tristes de la historia de Estados Unidos. Merece la pena echarle un vistazo.
