So either my "Recent Comments" alert thing hadn’t been working, or I just hadn’t been paying attention, but I discovered two things that made me Literally LOL when I finally read my comments. One is that the above photo of a photo in a newspaper of a band called Billy Talent entitled "Incredible Forearms" and the tag "forearms" had been "rescued" by the hilarious Flickr Tag Orphan Rescue Society, whose mission statement is: "Find a tag that has only one associated image? Go take a picture along a similar theme and save the tag from eternal loneliness." So David Vs. Goliath posted a photo of forearms. A brief search turned up one candidate for rescue: wretched. If you find any other suitable orphans, please post them to the group.

LOL #2 occurred when I discovered a months old photo was being hilariously explained in the classic style of a cloves-smoking 19-year-old in a semiotics seminar. Years ago there were a series of reviews on Amazon of a collection of Family Circus cartoons that were likewise erudite and funny. They were unfortunately — and I guess inevitably –pulled by Amazon once they were turned onto the joke.
