Flickr groups: it’s where the action is. Through the magic of social networking on Flickr, these members, who met through a game they play in a group on Flickr, have not merely hung and held their own art show, but two members even got married the weekend their show opened.

The members traveled from more than a dozen U.S. states, plus England, Sweden and Australia, to attend opening weekend of The DMU SH*W 2010. 26 of the exhibiting photographers were in attendance. The photos tell the story: It’s all about people, connections and their love of photography.

The DMU SH*W 2010 show runs weekends through May, in Los Angeles.
