In the last two years, millions of tourists have visited Harbin, China, during the winter to appreciate what sculptors build for the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. And from the photos shared on Flickr, it’s apparent why. With LED lights and ice blocks from the Songhua River, festival sculptors spent weeks to ambitiously replicate the Hallgrimskirkja church, Iceland’s architectural monument, and craft many more works to entertain this season’s visitors.
