We are *so* lucky.
We think it’s fair to say that all the people on the Flickr team have been truly touched by their experience here, seeing the world through so many people’s eyes.
Flickr is growing at a tremendous rate. This is wonderful! And fantastic! But, it also means that a lot of beautiful, amazing, poignant, outrageous, [insert adjective here] photography is flowing past us.
We think it’s important to celebrate your vision so we’re hosting a juried exhibition in New York on one night in July — "The Blink of an Eye".
To participate, join The Blink of an Eye Group and contribute your best shot for consideration by our panel of stellar jury members. You have from now until June 26 (midnight PST) to do so.
We’re thrilled that Sara Heinrichs, Catherine Jamieson, Kevin Meredith, Eliot Shepard and Ty Siscoe have agreed to help us choose five photos that represent the heart of Flickr.
You might ask yourself "what’s in it for me?" Well, since it’s proving difficult to deliver the pony direct to your door (thanks to various international quarantine and promotion regulatory issues) you’ll be in it for the love.
If you’ve got any questions, please ask them in the Group.
