The Philippines hosts many cultural events throughout the country, and recently was the Aliwan Fiesta, held in Pasay City, part of metro Manila. Aliwan invites teams from regions all around the country to send their best to represent their own provincial festivals in one big competition. Street dance and parades in the Philippines are incredibly colorful affairs, and showcase the exuberance of the people.
