We wanted to take a moment today to highlight a few of the images in the Flickr Collection on Getty Images.

If you are interested in selling your work, “Request to License” is the best way to participate. With Request to License a link will show right next to the licensing information on your photos. When a request is made, Getty Images reviews the image. If it’s suitable for the program Getty Images will contact you and help handle details like permissions, releases and pricing.

If you are enrolled in the program keep an eye out for Flickrmails from Flickr HQ with “Getty Images” in the subject – those are the notifications you get if one or more of your images are being invited to join the Flickr Collection on Getty Images. If it was requested by someone they usually need it quick so the sooner you can reply the more likely it is you will make a $ale.
