Back in April, Yahoo! Weather introduced a fantastic new iPhone app that combined all the information you need about the weather, along with stunning photography provided by you.
The Weather team was hard at work and now brings the experience to your Android device. The new app makes checking the forecast an intuitive, personalized, and immersive experience. Photos from the Flickr community around the globe of the weather from the very locations you’re interested in let you see the weather even more beautiful than ever before, no matter if sunshine, drizzle or impressive thunderstorms.
The app is sleek and powerful, featuring an intuitive design that brings you more data than ever before. 10-day and 24-hour forecasts, chances of precipitation, wind and pressure measurements, moon phases, UV patterns, sunrise and sunset times, an interactive map, a new widget for your lock screen &ndsh; all of these features are right at your fingertips.
And above all, Yahoo! Weather for Android makes it easy to check the forecast for the places that matters to you most. You can rearrange tiles for your cities so you get weather details in the order you want them.
If you’d like to see your very own photos in Yahoo! Weather, hop on over to the Project Weather group, where you can learn all about how we find photos for the iPhone and Android apps.
Yahoo! Weather is free and available internationally for Android on Google Play.
