Our last Flickr Friday theme was The Lives of Others.
Your contributions spanned from shots of daily life in the streets and other public spaces to the siloed architecture of residential buildings, from lives being shared with us through biographies to history being written and rediscovered. In case you haven’t spotted it yet, we announced the new Flickr Friday theme #97Percent in the group. We kept it a bit more general this time to give you a lot of creative freedom. A selection of your interpretations will be showcased right here on FlickrBlog late next week.
It amazes us every week anew to see all your creativity. For our theme You and Me, you shot sweet couples on the street, took romantic and funny selfies with our beloved ones and your dearest of friends, or simply interpreted the theme in broader way. Join us and discover all the wonderful submissions in the Flickr Friday group pool.
It’s also time to start shooting for our current theme #PenAndPaper (and of course, if you’re passionate about drawing, sketching, moleskining, notebooking, and scribbling, we want to see what you can come up within less than a week of time!). We will showcase your next FlickrFriday contributions later this week.
Last Flickr Friday was a theme of patience. Long Exposures, usually require a lot of it, while you set up your camera, compose the scene in the viewfinder and take your shot with very long shutter speeds.
Many of you made sure to take advantage of the hours between dusk and dawn to paint with light or freeze the landscapes, others created ghostly scenes with blurred silhouettes and movements. And then there were those who took a more humorous approach to the theme. Enjoy all the contributions in the Flickr Friday group pool, and start shooting for our current theme #YouAndMe.

La semaine dernière sur le groupe Flickr Friday, nous vous avions proposé de partager toutes vos photos “british” (à l’anglaise) avec votre interprétation deLondon Calling.
Nous savons que pour beaucoup d’entres vous ne vivant pas à Londres, le thème n’était pas simple à aborder. Néanmoins, nous sommes absolument abasourdis par la qualité des images que vous avez proposées (et ce quelque soit le lieu où vous habitez). De la très typique cabine téléphonique londonienne, en passant par le team time (la pause thé) ou encore votre idée de l’Union Jack (le drapeau anglais) ou plus simplement et très littéralement, le petit coup de fil passé à Londres… nous avons eu le droit à une grande richesse d’expression en photos.
