Greetings, Flickr members! Here’s what the Flickr team worked on and shipped out in March 2022.
What’s new
- We added categories to our help center to make it easier to find relevant articles. The “Promoted Articles” section of the help center homepage now lists some of our most frequently referenced articles.
- Comment mentions on galleries are now consistent with photo page comments. When you mention another Flickr member, instead of showing a member’s profile image thumbnail, we now show their display name.
Bug fixes
- We fixed a bug that was preventing some group administrators from being able to accept or reject photos in a group’s pending queue. (Thank you for fostering great groups, admins!)
- There was a bug preventing some photos from appearing in the feed in cases where a Flickr member may have previously deleted some of their photos. This should now be fixed.
And more
- In March, we announced some coming changes to free accounts on Flickr. We’ll continue sharing updates and resources to help navigate these changes.
