Happy Australia Day! As the lone Australian on the team and therefore something of a novelty, my homeland and my self are occasionally the butt of jokes about sheilas, mates, beers, g’days, ‘roos and that strange man who plays with crocodiles. My accent is imitated for better or worse. (There are no ‘Rs’ at the end of words in Strayan.)
People who aren’t Australian often ask me where i’m from, and I inevitably end up drawing a map like this:
