Could you get by on emailing photos to Flickr only one at a time, twice a day?
My sister Sue works for the US Antarctic program, and is currently aboard on an icebreaker headed for Palmer Station, Antarctica. Since the boat only has an INMARSAT satellite link, they can only send email with pretty tight attachment limitations, and they only send emails in batches, twice a day.
Some people upload photos from airports to tell their family and loved ones that they’ve arrived safely at their destination. My sister uploads photos of the bottom of the world when she gets there. :)
