It’s not that often that a FlickrBlog post requires a warning, but we feel that it’s fair to let you know that cube crafting is highly addictive. That said, we’re enchanted with HP, our latest “Do More” partner and their Photo Cube template tool.
That’s team Flickr featured above with their cubes. If the cube bug bites you, we hope that you’ll share your creations in HP’s Printing your Flickr photos group.
Some helpful tips for printing your photocube at home:
1. Use a good quality colour printer
2. Use the right paper – brochure or flyer stock is terrific!
3. If you are making a photo cube, cut the cube out first, then used a straight edge to score the dotted lines before you follow the folding instructions.
4. The template creates a five sided cube. If you’d like to add a sixth side, make a second cube and slide them together (they would make excellent holiday packaging for small gifts!).
