We’ve implemented a wee tweak to the information that surrounds the tags that you may stumble across as you tour the Flickrverse.

Prior to today, who tagged a photo wasn’t visible on Flickr, though this info was available through our API.

With today’s changes, here’s what you’ll see in a tool tip:

• tags added by the content owner will be identified as “Added by [screen name]”
• tags added by others prior to 11 AM Pacific today will be identified as “Added by a Flickr Member”
• tags added by others after 11 AM Pacific today will display the member name — “Added by [screen name]” like that in our example above

Now you’ll receive credit for all your tagging witticisms!
