Flickr iPhone app does multi-tasking and Twitter

In case you missed it in all the hubbub, a new version of the Flickr iPhone app launched last week in the App Store. Flickr for iPhone 1.2 supports the iPhone’s 4 new multi-tasking technology and lets you upload your photos or (HD) videos in the background. It also supports Fast-App-Switching that lets you come back to the app just exactly where you left off. It’s like a bookmark, but better.

Even if your pocket doesn’t hold an iPhone 4, the new version has something for you: You can upload AND tweet a short URL simultaneously from the app. All you need to do is link your Twitter & Flickr accounts.

Flickr for iPhone 1.2 comes with a few fancy visual tweaks, a much better browsing experience in full-screen mode and the option to clear your recent searches. It’s now in the App Store – and it’s freeeee.
