Your Best Shot is the annual celebration of the most inspiring photography on Flickr where we invited you to share your single best shot of the year. This year the contest ran from Dec 1, 2022- Jan 4, 2023 and has accumulated almost 12k photo entries. This month’s takeover will be celebrating some of your best shots from Your Best Shot 2022!

“Nimira (x). This (right now) is probably my own personal favourite portrait pic I’ve taken since I started doing this. My aim is to have a new favourite pic with each new shoot. That would mean I’m not standing still and hopefully getting better each time. Doesn’t always work that way and it’s not to say I was unhappy with the shoot after this one it’s just that I like this pic and I don’t usually like many of the pics I take. Or rather I’m quick to see the faults in them.” –Bureau 623
