Whoa! Things have changed around here! We released a new version of the website today, with new navigation, a new version of the Organizr, new powerful search and more… For more details, check out these posts on FlickrBlog: Changes Afoot & Alpha… Beta… Gamma!.

We’ve set up an Official Gamma Help Topic if you need assistance.

Here are some tips for getting around the new site:

Tip #1: How do I add my photos to a Group?
We’ve had to temporarily remove the Group functionality from the Organizr. This functionality will be returning shortly. Until then, you can add a photo to a Group from the individual photo page. The second icon above your photo is "Send to Group".

Tip #2: How do I FlickrMail someone?
When you mouse over a buddy icon the "person menu" will pop up. From there you can select "Send FlickrMail". George has posted an example of the expanded person menu in her blog post: blog.flickr.com/flickrblog/2006/05/alpha_beta_gamm.html

Tip #3: How can I found out who’s favouriting my photos?
Click on the "You" link in the top menu (Meaning, go to your main photo page). From there, select "Popular" link in below the ‘Your Photos’ heading and you’ll see a variety of ways that the Flickrverse is interacting with your content.

Tip #4: The "home" link is gone. How can I get back to my launch page?
Click on the Flickr logo top left.

Tip #5: How can I view an entire photostream as a slideshow?
The “View as slideshow” link is located in the photostream context widget to the right of every photo.

Tip #6: How can I create a FlickrBadge?
We’ve added a link on the Flickr Tools page.

Tip #7: How do I remove an image from a set?
You can remove a photo two ways: a) While you’re on the page of the photo you want to remove, click the “Add to Set” button and then click the [x] next to the set name, or b) Open Organizr, select the Sets tab, double click a set. Drag an image from the set to the Findr strip below.

Tip #8: How do I remove several images from my stream?
Open Organizr, select the images in the Findr strip at the bottom, either through search or scrolling through the photos. Drag them to the main Batch Organize section above. Edit menu > Delete.

Tip #9: How do I search within a member’s photos?
Mouse over their buddy icon anywhere on the site and their person menu will pop up. Select "Archives" from the person menu you’ll be taken to a page with a search box just for their photos you’ll be taken to a page with a search box just for their photos.

Tip #10: Don’t forget to breathe.
But seriously, we’re loving all the feedback. Today is just like Ye Olden Days of Launch, Listen and Tweak Stuff ™.
