The shoebox is dead… long live “Your Favorites”! When you see a photo taken by someone else that you want to “keep”, click on the little star at the upper left.

Your favorites are also on display when visitors browse through your photostream, but people will only see photos that are marked “public”. In FlickrLive, you can access your photostream and your favorites (instead of your shoebox).

We are planning a number of enhancements, like being able to see who has marked your photos as their favorite.

Group Pools

Firstly, thank you so much for all your comments and feedback about group pools.

We have extended group pools so we can generate a list of tags that are owned by the group (just like every individual owns a set of tags). You can search group pools, either with a free text search, or by surfing through the group tags. We’re also listing the 5 most popular tags for each group pool, so you can see at a glance how other people in the group are tagging their photos.
