About a month ago we finally added some real search capabilities to Flickr, including a search box in the header of every page. Well now we’ve made that header search box even better! Instead of just a default search for everyone’s photos, a search from the header is narrowed to the context of the page you’re on. So for example, when you’re on a group’s page, it searches within that group, and when you are looking at a person’s photostream, it searches in that photostream. As a bonus, the search button can be opened like the other navigation menus, to allow you to easily search in other contexts. Check it out!
