We are very proud of the The Flickr Commons photos uploaded by galleries, libraries, archives, museums, and governmental institutions. These photos won’t be deleted as a result of any of our announced changes. Photos that were Creative Commons licensed before our announcement are also safe.
We understand the challenges our members have faced trying to access their Flickr accounts, and we want to make sure that every Flickr member has easy access to their content.

We’ve been fighting spam for some time now. And thanks to our recent acquisition by SmugMug, we have new resources that are helping us take stronger action and make significant progress on this front.
