Thank you to all the photographers who came together Saturday morning for a photowalk in San Francisco’s Mission district.
The time has come again, #FlickrFam, to band together with photographers around the world for a global photowalk. This year’s Worldwide Flickr Photowalk theme is “Monuments and Historic Places” and we’re working with our friends in the Wikimedia community in support of the Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 (WLM) photography competition in September.
More than 100 Bay Area photographers came together Sunday afternoon for an industrial photowalk in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood.
Thousands of photographers in more 100 cities got out this weekend to capture macro textures as part of the Worldwide Flickr Photowalks.
What an amazing weekend for photowalkers around the world! More than 20,000 walkers participated in more than 1,000 walks in nearly every region of the world, from the U.S. to the Philippines, Brazil to Sri Lanka, Iceland to Iran.
As part of the year-long celebration of Flickr’s 10th birthday, we invited Flickr members around the world to celebrate by hosting photo walks. More than 1200 participants in nearly 70 locations across the globe showed why Flickr is the best online photo community in the world.
