The first of several new features has been rolled out today:

• We have added Flickr Tips upon starting up Flickr — these will be shown until the window is closed. You can also turn them off.

• There are now public photo pages! And! you can now post comments to photos. Click on any of the photos in the client and click on “NEW WINDOW”. That will bring up a page where you can comment on photos. The photos owners can also decide who can comment on photos: No one, Flickr contacts, or Any Flickr Member. Any Flickr Member is the default.
